Golf Anyone?

ARLINGTON, Tx -- The first ever inaugural Maverick Golf Tournament was held recently at the Riverside Golf Club in Grand Prairie, TX. The event was a (4) man, best-ball with top honors going to Mike Jennings, Bob Sullins, Presley Darnell and Dave Leck finishing with a 12 under par score. Second place went to the (3) man team of Ben Brewster, Paul Lowe and Jack Huczek. Jack is the #2 racquetball player in the world and was also at the Maverick for a clinic the same weekend. Several other awards were handed out for the longest drive contest and the closest to the pin. Brian Fredenberg won the longball contest just edging out Jack Huczek. And the Maverick's own Conner McCourt won the closest to the pin contest with an accurate shot that landed just a few feet from the cup. With the recent passing of fellow racquetball player and Maverick member Fred Ramirez, it was unanimously decided among the staff and players that this event will be named "The Fred Ramirez Charity Golf Tournament" and will be held every year to honor his memory.
