Marketing/Sales Intern - Part Time

Description

This internship would assist in the marketing process by performing tasks such as and not limited to:

• Making phone calls to prospective members who have expressed an interest in becoming a member.
• Introducing and selling new memberships to the Maverick by setting appointments via telephone or e-mail.
• Contacting current members who have terminated in the past 90 days to convince them to return on our "We Want You Back" program.
• This internship will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of various marketing plans, assist in the creation and production of current special events for the club designed to increase traffic and member retention.

The overall experience will help the intern to develop an understanding and working knowledge of marketing, customer service and communication within a professional environment by assuming the roles mentioned above as well as additional responsibilities requested by the Program Director as needed. Internships are typically for college/university students.

Hours: Variable/Flexible

Days: Monday-Friday

Position Type: Part Time

Salary: Unpaid (sales commission offered)

General Maintenance

Description

Position will perform repair and maintenance of air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, and fitness equipment. This individual will also be performing duties such as painting, cleaning and other general maintenance as required. Previous experience desired but not required.


Front Desk/Snack Bar

Description

We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to staff our front desk, greet our members and keep their records up to date. If you love to interact with people, have superb phone skills and are proficient with computers, we offer a fun environment, good compensation and a free health club membership. Responsibilities of this role include receiving members at front desk, scheduling court time, program registrations, payment processing, and telephone reception. Day, evening and weekend hours, flexible time schedules available.
