Maverick July Triple Crown Racquetball Shootout

ARLINGTON, TX -- Join us for the Maverick Triple Crown Racquetball Shootout, July 11-12, 2009 here at the Maverick Athletic Club. This event draws nearly 150 with most players entering at least 2 divisions. The Triple Crown awards for all 1st place finishers is $30 in Mav Bucks, 2nd place is $20. Mav Bucks are just like money except they can be used to purchase anything at the Maverick Pro Shop or the Snack Bar. They can also be used on your next tournament entry fee.
The Round Robin format for the Triple Crown Shootout will consist of (2) games to 11 points, with a 7 point tie-breaker, if necessary. All players will play at least 3-4 matches. All skill divisions (Open, Elite, A, B, C, D) will be offered as well as age divisions (25+, 30+, 35+, etc..) will be offered as well as doubles and juniors. (18-under, 16-under, Multi-bounce, etc..).

Maverick Racquetball Club Championships Coming Soon

The Maverick will be hosting the 2009 Maverick Racquetball Club Championships, this summer. This tournament is for Maverick members only, regular and dual club members. The event will start and end on Saturday, round robin format for all divisions. Hospitality, gatorade, fruit, and lunch at 12pm for all players. Maverick First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shootout

The First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shoot-out will be held Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Maverick. Due to the July 4th Holiday, we will begin the First Saturday Shootout at 10am for this shootout only.
The First Saturday Shootout consists of one OPEN division of doubles play. All mens players put in $20.00 and the pool is dispersed among the winners of the round robin shoot-out. Partners are drawn out of a hat. The shoot-out for the men begins promptly at 10:00 am. The women start at 9:30am and the fee is only $10 per player for the ladies. This is also a very fun workout and the level of play is high, which is better for everyone's game. For even more fun, bring a friend with you. Come on, let's see what you got.

Summer Doubles Racquetball League
Doubles Summer League Starts Monday, July 13

The Maverick Doubles Racquetball Leagues begins Monday, July 13th and is open to Maverick members and also non-members. Leagues here at the Maverick are very competitive, players come from all over the Metrolpex to play. And playing in the league gives you more opportunities to stay and play on the challenge court where the BEST players test their skills. The deadline to enter the league is Thursday, July 9th.
