September Triple Crown Shootout
September 10-12, 2010
Join
us for the Maverick Triple
Crown September Racquetball Championships.
This is a USAR/TXRA sanctioned event. Mixed
Doubles will be played on Friday night,
September 10th. Saturday-September 11th,
ALL singles divisions will be played. Sunday-September
12th, ALL doubles divisions will be played.
The entry deadline will be Monday, September
6th at 10:00pm.
ANYONE can play in this event regardless
if you played in any of the summer shootouts.
This event awards $100 in Mavbucks for 1st
place in ALL divisions and $20 for 2nd place.
Larger awards for Men's and Women's Open.
At
this event we will draw three divisions
for a chance at $300 in Mavbucks. Any player
that participated in at least (2) of the
(3) Triple Crown One Day Shootouts is eligible
to triple their Mavbucks if they win the
division drawn at this event. If you played
in (2) of the (3) Shootouts you have increased
your chances to triple your prize in September
if you win your division.
Round
robin play for all divisions using the
mini-match format, 2 games to 11 pts.
tie-breaker to 7 pts.
One
player from each group advances to the
playoffs if more than 2 groups.
Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner and good ole Maverick hospitality
all weekend long.

Singles Racquetball League concluded this
past month. Congratulations to all the winners:

Maverick
First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shootout
The
First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shoot-out
will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the
Maverick at 12:00 pm. The First Saturday Shootout
consists of one OPEN division of doubles play.
All mens players put in $20.00 and the pool
is dispersed among the winners of the round
robin shoot-out. Partners are drawn out of a
hat. The shoot-out for the men begins promptly
at 12:00 pm. The women start at 9:30am and the
fee is only $10 per player for the ladies. This
is also a very fun workout and the level of
play is high, which is better for everyone's
game. For even more fun, bring a friend with
you. Come on, let's see what you got.
