Metroplex Racquetball Championships
benefiting

us for the Metroplex
Racquetball Championships benefiting Military
Racquetball Federation February
3-5, 2012. This event will be hosted at the
historic Maverick Athletic Club in Arlington,
TX and is the premiere club for hosting any
size racquetball tournament. This is a USAR
sanctioned event and all
players must have valid/current membership
to play in this tournament. To purchase a

This event offers singles and doubles for
all divisions for men, women and juniors.
Back by popular demand will be the "Casino
Night Party" on Saturday evening
at 8pm for all tournament players and then
its off to the 'After Party' at Little O's
Patio Grill in Arlington.
Due to the large number of entries and the
ability to end the tournament at 7pm for the
Casino Party, players in Men's Open, Elite,
A, B, C should be prepared to play on Friday
at 4pm.
The entry deadline will be Monday,
January 30th @10:00pm.

66th Annual George Lee Handball Invitational
Join
us as the Maverick will once again be hosting
the George Lee Handball Invitational Tournament
here, February 10-12 for the second year in
a row. This event showcases the best handball
players from all over the state to compete in
one of the sports longest running tournaments.
Skill levels in Men's Open, A, B, and C will
be offered for men and women as well as age
divisions and doubles. The highlight of the
event will be the Saturday night banquet and
the awards ceremony for all players and guests.
The Dallas
Handball Association will be providing a
first class event here at the Maverick, visit

Maverick
First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shootout
The
First Saturday of the Month Doubles Shoot-out
will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the
Maverick at 12:00 pm. The First Saturday Shootout
consists of one OPEN division of doubles play.
All mens players put in $20.00 and the pool
is dispersed among the winners of the round
robin shoot-out. Partners are drawn out of a
hat. The shoot-out for the men begins promptly
at 12:00 pm. The women start at 9:30am and the
fee is only $10 per player for the ladies. This
is also a very fun workout and the level of
play is high, which is better for everyone's
game. For even more fun, bring a friend with
you. Come on, let's see what you got.
